Egg Roll in a Bowl (update with 6 pics)

Pictures ARE worth a thousand words--especially in this case!

There are so many variations to Egg Roll in a Bowl--this "recipe" shows just some of the options.  Add the ingredients that you love--increase carbs with more carby vegetables (corn, carrots, peas...) some like to serve it over rice; increase protein by adding more meat(s) (this is 1 lb. of ground beef but let your imagination (and budget) change the textures and flavors--ground turkey, chicken, beef or pork chunks or no meat at all.


Broccoli spears, spiralized zucchini, 1" pieces of fresh asparagus, Angel Hair Cole Slaw (or 1 head of shredded cabbage), 1/4-1/2 cup finely chopped onion (yellow or red) 2 tsp. finely chopped garlic


(In a large frying pan (and well-fitting lid) Add 1 Tbsp. Sesame Oil, Heat Oil, Brown meat, add onion & garlic, 1/2 cup Bragg Liquid Amino, 1/2 cup brown sugar (reduce brown sugar or eliminate for lower carb).  You may need a larger pan 😊


Add prepared vegetables, add shredded cabbage over top of vegetables



Put lid over all (may have to press down--this is where the larger pan comes into play.)  Cook over medium-low heat for approximately 20 minutes.


Add toasted sesame seeds (optional, but WHY would you want to skip? 😇)


Make it YOUR way. Mine is rarely the same, but I can always count on LOTS of tasty flavors and texture each time.
