Fried Barley w/egg (like Fried Rice)

Another versatile recipe—add your preferred ingredients to vary flavors.  I prefer to make a 6 qt. Instant Pot of chicken or beef barley pilaf once during the week and use it throughout the week

1 tsp. Sesame Oil
1 cup cooked barley per serving
2 eggs, crack and stir well
Sesame Seed, as desired
Black Pepper to taste

Optional:
1-2 Tbsp. crispy onion rings/French Fried onion rings
½ - 1 cup cooked meat

Pre-heat 10-in frying pan over medium-high heat.  When frying pan is hot, carefully add 1 tsp. Sesame Oil.  Heat oil 1-2 minutes until hot.  Carefully add the cooked barley.  Stir barley/oil mixture to distribute oil throughout and heat barley.  Add stirred eggs, toss to cook eggs and combine with barley.  Add additional veggies, meat & sesame seed, as desired.  Serve with 1-2 Tbsp. crispy onion rings sprinkled on top.
