BrownEEEs

In preparation for April Fools Day... 😜

Ingredients:
You will need BROWN construction paper OR a color printer.

Create a Word (or similar) document; Select various fonts for the letter "E", different fonts & sizes are best. Choose BROWN for the font color if using plain paper instead of construction paper.   Cut individual E's to shape.  Arrange E's on the inside/bottom of small covered baking or covered serving dish with a small amount of white/washable glue or double-sided tape.  Explain that you brought BROWN E's!!  Remove the cover ONLY when ready to "serve" and observe the discovery.  Happy April Fool's Day. Depending on your audience, it is probably wise to actually bring some real, edible brownies. 👍

Here is my favorite brownie recipe.
Fudge Brownies

1 cup butter
2 cups white (granulated) sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Optional:
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips
anything else you care to add

In a medium saucepan (or microwave batter bowl) melt butter just until soft, not melted (approx 30-45 seconds).  Remove from heat; stir in cocoa and sugar; crack eggs, add to butter/sugar/cocoa mixture.  Stir to combine.  Add vanilla.  Stir in flour and optional ingredients.  Mix well.  Spread into a greased 9x13" baking dish. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.  Be careful not to overbake. Cool. Frost if desired.
