Orange Crescent Rolls

If you need a quick & delicious sweet bread, give this a try!

4 oz. softened cream cheese
2 Tbsp. softened butter
2-4 Tbsp granulated sugar

1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls—in sheet form

2-3 Tbsp. thawed orange juice concentrate
2/3-1 cup powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream softened cream cheese, softened butter & granulated sugar together.  (OK to microwave cream cheese & butter 20-40 seconds to soften but don’t melt it.)

Place parchment paper on baking/cookie sheet.  Open Crescent Roll Sheet tube.  Unroll sheet to lay flat on parchment.  Spread cream cheese/butter mixture evenly over crescent roll sheet.   From the long end, roll up, cinnamon roll style.  Use an 18” piece of plain (not mint or cinnamon) dental floss to cut rolls into approximately 1” slices.  Lay each piece flat on the parchment.  Bake 15-20 minutes.  While rolls are cooling slightly, mix the thawed orange juice concentrate with 2/3-1 cup powdered sugar (it will be an almost pourable consistency) until smooth.  Spread orange frosting on each roll. Enjoy!
